Recommended Bandung’s Tourist Attractions

Below is the list of the tourist attractions that you must visit in Bandung.

Tangkuban Perahu

Known as the most famous and legendary tourist attraction in Bandung, the volcano Tangkuban Perahu is one of the must-visit Bandung’s tourist destinations. Bandung itself is very famous for its volcanic attractions.

The Tangkuban Perahu is located about an hour and a half north of central Bandung. To get the best view of the panorama, you can either hike or ride to the edge of the crater to view the hot springs and boiling mud up close. Not only is its natural scenery, but the beautiful Mount Tangkuban Perahu also offers an outbound area for tourists to play in. Here, you can also see a variety of endemic flora and fauna.

Lembang Floating Market

Not only in Banjarmasin, you can also experience the same attraction of the floating market in Bandung, specifically in Lembang. Lembang Floating Market is not an authentic floating market, instead, it is a theme park with a floating market concept like a mini replica of the Thailand floating markets in Bangkok. This attraction is interesting both for local and foreign visitors to visit with family and friends.

In this attraction, you may find some boats selling food, as how the floating market works in Bangkok and Banjarmasin. Not only shop for daily needs or food, but you can also go on boat rides on the lake.

Kawah Putih Ciwidey

As one of the most famous spots in Bandung, Kawah Putih is one of the two craters of Mount Patuha. Located about two hours south of central Bandung, in this tourist spot you can marvel at the crater’s beauty.

The lake has very highly acidic water that routinely undergoes changes in color. The color of the water changes depending on the sulfuric content and temperature, it may change from powder blue to whitish green to brown.
