Moonlit Creative Writing Retreat: Sip, Write, and Connect by the Water

Breeze is blowing, the night air envelopes you in it’s cool embrace but the complimentary alcoholic (or non-alcoholic) drink you are sipping warms you up. You can see the moon, partly hidden behind the clouds that drift slowly in the sky as you write on the spot according to the prompts given by the facilitator/ fellow participants. You met other lovers of creative writing, and together you all share your writing, reading aloud on the spot, giving each other feedback as you nibble on delectable treats. Nothing is off limits, and we may all end up taking a dip in the water… starting off as strangers, ending up as friends.

This activity is ideal for persons seeking to stimulate their creative juices in a serene and ethereal environment. Maybe you used to write and stopped as life’s responsibilities took over, maybe you still write but lack persons of similar interests to share with. Maybe you write as part of your job/ career role but find that you have lost the spark and passion.
