Trip to the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids

Booked this tour solo and couldn't be happier. Going inside Khufu's pyramid was intense. Narrow passages, steep climb, but standing in that burial chamber...Surreal! The Sphinx looked smaller in person than I expected but still impressive up close. Lunch break was welcome, I had koshary at a local spot, not touristy at all. Then the Grand Egyptian Museum absolutely blew me away. Could've spent another three hours there honestly. The King Tut collection alone is worth the trip. Skipped the camel ride (heard mixed things) but got plenty of photos. Air-conditioned van was clutch in that heat. Only small gripe, the museum gift shop prices were crazy high. If you're doing Cairo, this is non-negotiable. Just bring sunscreen and good walking shoes.
