Explore the history of the most visited UNESCO World Heritage sites, Sigiriya fortress and Dambulla cave temple in Srilanka with a professional guide.
Start at 4.00am from your hotel in Colombo or Negombo. Driver details and vehicle details will be shared to you. You will reach Sigiriya by 7.30am Expert tip : During public holidays and weekends the site will be crowded as many local travelers are visiting the place.
You need to purchase the entry tickets to the site at the gate, and your well knowledgeable guide will take you through the site. Sigiriya Lions Rock is 200 meters high and visitors can "climb" the 1,200 steps, divided amongst a number of staircases, to the top. Light dress with walking shoes is recommended. Average time to cover the site 2.5Hrs
After obtaining your entry tickets from the counter, Your guide will take you to explore the all five caves while explaining the history and legends.
Upon your request your driver will stop at a recommended restaurant to have your lunch. Pay direct to the place.
