Your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your accommodation at a departure time arranged to suit your preference.
The journey begins with a visit to Quang Phu Cau Incense Village, where vibrant bundles of incense sticks are laid out to dry in striking formations. You’ll have the chance to photograph the locals at work amidst this colorful display, capturing scenes of the incense-making process and daily life in the village. You’ll also visit local homes to gain a deeper understanding of traditional Vietnamese life. Along the way, your guide will share insights into Vietnam’s rich worshipping traditions and religious culture.
Next, we head to Ninh Binh, one of Northern Vietnam’s most stunning travel destinations. Upon arrival at Tam Coc or Trang An, you’ll enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we make our way to the boat station, where you’ll board a traditional sampan boat for a serene journey through caves and limestone mountains along the river — often called “Ha Long Bay on Land.” As your local rower skillfully paddles through the caves, you’ll admire the beautiful stalactites and peaceful rice fields framed by towering cliffs, offering countless photo opportunities.
Our tour continues to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Here, you’ll visit the temple dedicated to Vietnam’s first emperor and hear stories from your guide about the country’s history during the 10th and 11th centuries, including why this region was chosen as the first capital. The peaceful scenery and historical setting also make it an excellent spot for photos.
After exploring Hoa Lu, we return to Hanoi, where your guide will drop you off at your hotel or preferred location. This marks the end of our memorable journey.
