Cappadocia Highlights Tour: Underground City, Göreme Open-Air Museum & Fairy Chimneys

At the designated departure time, we will pick you up from your hotel/location and take you to Güvercinlik Valley, a panoramic viewpoint where you can best understand the unique formation of Cappadocia. Here, you will first receive information about the fantastic rock formations and the history of the settlement.

After a short journey, we will arrive at Kaymaklı Underground City. This structure, carved dozens of metres underground over centuries for both daily life needs and as a hiding place, has preserved its mystery to this day. 

After lunch, we will visit the Göreme Open-Air Museum, another UNESCO World Heritage site in Cappadocia, which was carved into the rocks in the 11th century and decorated with wall paintings.

In the remaining part of the day, we will get to know the 4,000-year-old pottery-making tradition in the city of Avanos up close.

Finally, we will visit Paşabağı, also known as the Monks Valley, which is home to fascinating fairy chimneys.

Finally, we will dropoff at your hotel.
