Alexandria City Exploration

This full-day private tour departs from Cairo in the early morning and takes you to Alexandria’s top historical and cultural sites. Begin at the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century fortress built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Visit the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern tribute to the ancient library. Enjoy a seafood lunch by the Mediterranean before exploring the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a unique fusion of Roman, Greek, and Egyptian burial architecture.
