Day 1: Arrival in Luxor – East Bank Wonders
Upon arrival in Luxor, meet your guide and begin your journey with a visit to the magnificent Luxor Temple, known for its grand courtyard and colossal statues of Ramses the Great. Continue to Karnak Temple, a vast complex built over centuries by generations of pharaohs. Walk the Avenue of Sphinxes, admire the towering Hypostyle Hall, and see the Obelisks of Hatshepsut and Thutmose III, the Sacred Lake, and the Granite Scarab of Amenhotep III. Afterward, board your Nile cruise ship in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon tea, dinner, and a belly dance show onboard. Optional: Attend the captivating Sound & Light Show at Karnak Temple. Day 2: West Bank & Valley of the Kings
Optional: Experience a magical hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings at sunrise. After breakfast, cross the Nile to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, the burial ground of Egypt’s greatest rulers. Explore several royal tombs (King Tutankhamun’s tomb requires a separate ticket). Continue to the stunning Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, then stop at the imposing Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch and begin sailing toward Esna. Enjoy afternoon tea and a lively disco party in the evening. Overnight on board.
Day 3: Temples of Edfu & Kom Ombo
After breakfast, visit the remarkably preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of Egypt’s most complete ancient temples. Sail onward to Kom Ombo and visit the temple shared by the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris. Overnight on board.
Day 4: Arrival in Aswan – High Dam & Philae Temple
Begin your day with a visit to the engineering marvel that is the High Dam of Aswan, offering panoramic views of Lake Nasser. Then, take a short boat ride to Agilkia Island to explore the beautifully relocated Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Enjoy lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner on board. Overnight on board in Aswan.
Day 5: Optional Abu Simbel – Departure Optional: Travel to Abu Simbel
the breathtaking twin temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, carved into a cliff and famously relocated to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. After breakfast, disembark from the cruise and transfer to Aswan Airport or Train Station for your onward journey.
