During the tour, you can explore the Falls Trail in peace, listen to the morning sounds of nature and admire the vibrant colors of the dawn, which vary between shades of orange and pink. This tour starts earlier, leaving the hotel around 5:00 am, this time may vary slightly depending on which hotel you are staying at. After boarding one of our private vehicles, we will head to the Iguaçu National Park, where, after presenting the tickets and passing through the security checkpoint, we will continue in our private car for another 10 km until we reach the start of the Falls Trail, where we will begin the 1.5 km walk to the famous falls called Devil’s Throat. After the hike, we will continue to the Porto Canoas restaurant with panoramic views of the falls to enjoy a wonderful and delicious breakfast, included in the ticket price. Next, visitors can also take a boat trip to the Iguaçu Falls, called Macuco Safari, which lasts approximately 2 hours. There is no additional cost to the tour; you will only pay the ticket price for this tour.

Itinerary: Depart from your hotel in Huaraz at 8:00 AM, heading south. At approximately 25 km, reach Recuay Province (3,300 m.a.s.l.), followed by Ticapampa (3,400 m.a.s.l.) and Catac (3,500 m.a.s.l.). Continue towards Pachacoto, where the route turns east onto an unpaved road through the stunning highland landscape, featuring vast straw fields, crisp mountain air, and traditional sheep herders. After 15 km, stop at Patococha Lake, a perfect spot for birdwatching. Look out for wild ducks, Andean geese, caracaras, and other native species. Visit a natural gasified water stream, where carbonated, drinkable water flows from underground springs. Continue to admire the giant Puya Raimondi plants, the largest species of bromeliad in the world. Stop at Pumapampa, a small lake known for its color-changing waters, a phenomenon caused by sunlight and the mineral-rich rocks beneath the surface.
