  • Vendor FAQ
    • How/When do I get paid?
      You will receive bi-weekly payments at no extra cost. In each pay run we pay all fulfilled bookings, minus the commission fee. The commission fee for every fulfilled booking (15%) goes towards managing our platform, building tools, developing insights, and promoting your offerings to prospective travelers. We do need you to share some key business information in order to pay you on-time, such as your company or individual name, registration number or national identity number and bank details.
    • Are there any obligations on my part?
      You are under no obligation. You have the option to cancel your activity or account at any moment. We also give you entire control over your availability and price, which you can change whenever you choose.
    • What happens after I register as a vendor?
      After registering as a vendor, simply confirm your email to receive access to your in-portal page, where you can add your offerings to our platform. The system will guide you through the process and ensure a seamless experience so your product goes online as soon as possible. Follow our email instructions and also fill out your key information right away. Without it, we’re unable to process payments and you may experience payment delays after you receive bookings.
    • What is GuideYourTour
      GuideYourTour is a tour, activity, and attraction online marketplace. It links travelers with local tour operators and activity providers in locations all over the world, making it simple to explore and book one-of-a-kind travel experiences.
    • Who can join GuideYourTour?
      We work with travel and tour companies, independent guides or anyone who loves culture, people, and places that can provide high-quality travel offerings. So if you have a lively personality, in-depth knowledge of your locale, and a desire to meet new people, then Join Us and register as a vendor.
    • How much does it cost?
      It is absolutely FREE to register, add and maintain your activities on the platform. You will only be charged a commission fee (15%) for bookings that are successful. No hidden fees.

    • How does GuideYourTour work?
      GuideYourTour is an online marketplace for booking tours, attractions, excursions, and countless other things to do on your next vacation or weekend adventure. We work together with vendors from all over the world. The vendors are the ones offering the activities. You can book your tour/activity online, using our website or app. You'll receive your voucher via email.
    • What does GuideYourTour offer?
      We offer a variety of unforgettable travel experiences. You can choose from entry tickets, transfers, city cards, guided tours, hop-on hop-off tours, water activities, day trips, and multi-day trips in thousands of destinations around the world. We do not offer travel packages, flights, insurance of any kind or visa support. Accommodation may only be provided as part of multi-day activities.
  • Payment Method & Refunds
    • Payment methods
      As we are an online booking platform, the entire booking and payment process must be completed either on our website or app. You can choose from several different payment methods: • Credit or debit card (VISA, mastercard, maestro, American Express, JCB, Discover) • PayPal • Google Pay • Apple Pay Please note that the payment options you can see all the payment methods at your disposal during the booking process. Payment only in USD (Note that once you book a tour, the price is fixed, even if exchange rates fluctuate between the time, you book and the time you take your tour.)
    • I am unable to submit my personal details. What do I do?
      If you're experiencing issues when providing your payment details (name on card, card number, etc), please try the following: • Double-check that you've entered all your payment details correctly and attempt the payment again. • Try using a different browser and/or switching over to the GuideYourTour mobile app. • Choose a different payment method. • Wishlist the activity and try again later If you are trying to pay with a card, please ensure your card is authorized for both international and online purchases. You can check this in your online banking settings or by getting in touch with your bank directly. Please also check that your bank isn't blocking the payment due to any other payment security policies.
    • Refund requests
      If you cancel your booking within the cancellation policy, your refund will be automatically processed via the same payment method you used to book the activity. You should see it in your account 14 days. If your booking doesn't go as planned or you are unhappy with your experience and would like to request a refund, please use the form below to tell us the reason(s) for this. These refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. In the unlikely event that the vendor needs to cancel your booking, you are always entitled to a full refund. If you've received a cancellation confirmation email from us, your refund will be automatically processed via the same payment method you used to book the activity. You should see it in your account within 14 days. If the activity provider informed you directly about the cancellation and you have not received a cancellation confirmation email from us, please contact us using the form below.
    • Refund not received.
      The time it takes for your refund to be processed depends on the payment method and currency used. If your refund has been paid out, for most payment methods, you’ll see an Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) below. Your payment provider can use this to track the refund. Please make sure to check the same payment method used when booking. Should you be unable to use the tool, please contact us using this form.
  • Booking Management
    • I have booked a tour/activity.
      You will receive the confirmation email from GuideYourTour. In the email, you will find booking details, the lead traveler's name, and other important information such as: pickup or meeting point location, validity period, what to bring to your activity, and your activity's cancellation policy. Moreover, you'll find the booking order number which you need for canceling or rescheduling your booking.
    • Reschedule Booking
      You can instantly change the date and/or time of a booking by submitting the Reschedule Form.
  • Booking Tour/Activity
    • Pricing
      All Vendors set their own pricing; GuideYourTour does not set any prices. For most of the tour/activity, the service of each vendor is calculated using a 'flat rate'. Therefore, the prices you see for these ones are per person. Each tour will show the maximum of travelers that the guide can accommodate at that price. Any costs that are not included in the total price will be listed under the "Tour Extra" section of the tour description. Depending on the tour/activity, we offer different prices based on age groups (e.g. adult, child, infant). You can see the available pricing options when selecting the number of participants on an activity page. We are unable to offer different prices based on other criteria (e.g. discounts for disabled persons or military). For some tour/activity, specific age groups might be free of charge without needing a ticket or you might need to book a ticket elsewhere (on the attraction's website or in person). If this is the case for the activity you're interested in, you'll see more information as you're selecting the number of participants and/or in the " Frequently Asked Questions" section on the activity page.
    • Booking tour/activity
      Go to our homepage GuideYourTour.com and under “Let’s Guide Your Tour” type in your destination. Click on “Search” and you will be taken to a page with many tour/activity options. Here you can refine your search by using the filters available at the top of the page. You can select your dates, number of travelers and type of traveler (child/infant) options. Click on “View Details” on any tour/activity for more details. Once you find a tour/activity that you like, then click on “BOOK NOW “and follow the instructions. You can book online securely with your credit card PayPal, Google Pay or Apple Pay. Pricing stated only in USD (Note that once you book a tour, the price is fixed, even if exchange rates fluctuate between the time, you book and the time you take your tour.) Should you have questions at any time, GuideYourTour is available 24/7 to assist you. If you have queries, you can contact us anytime via Contact Us page and submit your query/message OR email us at support@guideyourtour.com. We will respond within 24 hours.
    • Customize Tour/Activity
      Unfortunately, it is not possible to customize a tour/activity. We can only offer an activity as it is described on our website or app.
  • Tour/Activity Details
    • What is included?
      To see what's included in a tour/activity, go to the "Included" section and what is not in a tour/activity go to “Excluded” section on the tour/activity page. Common inclusions/exclusions are food and drinks, entry tickets, guide, transportation, etc. Please note that some inclusions might depend on the option booked. To find out more about the tour/activity's itinerary (e.g. what stops are included), please check the "Travel Itinerary" of the tour/activity. Conversely, there is also a “Frequently Asked Question” section that would provide insights on the tour/activity such as what to do?, what not to do? Type of attire etc. If you have a question in mind or looking for more details, you can use the “Ask a Question” and provide details of your name, email and question and we will get back to you.     • Duration, Group Size and Language
      You can see the tour/activity duration in the "Duration" section on the tour/activity page. It indicates how long the tour/activity lasts (including travel time, if applicable). You can see the tour/activity group size in the "Group" section on the tour/activity page. It indicates how many people maximum can be part of this tour/activity that you are booking. You can see the tour/activity language supported in the "Language" section on the tour/activity page. It indicates the types of languages the tour/activity provider can facilitate in.
    • Covid restrictions
      General Covid-19 travel restrictions: As local health and entry requirements are frequently adjusted, we recommend you check official regulations on the government website(s) for your destination to get the latest information regarding lockdowns, vaccines, quarantine regulations, PCR tests, etc.
    • Pet Policy
      To see whether you can take your pet (e.g. cat, dog) on the activity, please check the "Exclude" and/or "Frequently Asked Question " sections on the activity page. If no pet policy is stated, you can use the “Ask a Question” and provide details of your name, email and question to query on pet policy for the tour/activity. You can also reach out to us via the Contact Us page and submit your query/message OR email us at support@guideyourtour.com.
    • Food & Drinks
      To see whether food and/or drinks are included in your tour/activity, please check the "Included" section on the tour/activity page. Please note that additional information may also be found in the " Frequently Asked Question" section. For some activities, lunch or dinner are optional and can be selected either as an option before booking the tour/activity as “Tour Extra” option. If you wish to query on dietary requirements (such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.) you can use the “Ask a Question” and provide details of your name, email, and question to query on pet policy for the tour/activity. You can also reach out to us via the Contact Us page and submit your query/message OR email us at support@guideyourtour.com.
    • Do we provide insurance coverage for your booked tour/activity?
      No. We recommend each traveler purchases their own travel insurance before going on vacation to ensure you are fully covered. While we hope your tour/activity go smoothly, we understand that things don’t always go according to plan, and we want you to be able to relax and enjoy your time with the knowledge you are covered.
