Glowing Plankton Kayaking Tour in Cat Ba & Lan Ha Bay:  2-Day Night Glow Adventure

This tour is specially created for those who want to immerse themselves in nature and witness the rare phenomenon of glowing plankton. The trip gives you the chance to see shimmering blue lights beneath the water while kayaking at night—an extraordinary natural spectacle.

First day with plankton excursion at night

For those who are staying in Hanoi Old Town or Ninh Binh, optional hotel pick-up is available at 7:00 AM or 10:00 AM, arriving in Cat Ba after approximately 3 hours. You may leave your luggage at our office and explore Cat Ba beaches or Cat Ba National Park on your own by taxi or scooter.

16:00 – 16:30: Meeting Point at our office (35 Nui Ngoc Street, Cat Ba Town), then transfer by bus to Beo Pier.

16:30- 18h00: Passing by Cai Beo floating fishing village; Enjoy sunset in Lan Ha bay, boat will stop for swimming in the middle of the bay;

18:00- 20:30: having fresh dinner; follow our tour guide on your kayak to see plankton lighting up from the water like a thousand little stars dancing beneath your fingertips with every movement. It is not just a sight – it is a phenomenon that deftly believes. That will be the unforgettable experience in your life

21:00 Stay overnight on floating homestay

Second day to Lan Ha bay – Ha Long bay

7:00 – 9:00: See the dawn and breath the fresh air on the bay then having breakfast

9:00 – 10:30: Get picked up from the homestay and cruise to the southern part of Ha Long Bay. There are hundreds of sandy beaches you can see on the way; passing by Dau Be island to experience the unique view with fewer tourists.

10:30 – 11:30: Boat stops for kayaking through Bat cave – Bright cave and explore some hidden lagoons.

12:00 – 13:00 Savor a delicious set menu lunch on boat

13:30 – 16:00: Enjoin your time on sundeck while our boat cruising to different part of Lan Ha bay, you will have a chance to see a lot of islet as the must visit like Pen islet, Sailing islet and Frog islet, Turtle islet…. Boat pause at Three Peach beach, you can jump off the boat into the bay for swimming and snorkeling. Keep moving to visit a local fishfarm

16:00-17:00:  Enjoy the magnificent quiet bay with some drinks and snacks on the way back to Cat Ba town. For anyone prefer to return Ha Noi right after the trip, we can arrange with some extra fee
