You can snorkel or swim with the whale sharks, often feeding them, under the guidance of local boat guides. Kawasan Canyoneering is an adventurous activity in Cebu, Philippines, taking place in the Matutinao River canyon. It involves navigating through the canyon by jumping, swimming, hiking, trekking, and exploring natural pools and waterfalls. Whale Shark Watching:
What to expect: You'll snorkel with whale sharks in their natural habitat, observing them from a safe distance (5m from the head, 6m from the tail).
What to bring: Swimwear, a change of clothes, towel, underwater camera, and a sun hat (sunscreen is not allowed in the water).
Things to note: Don't touch the whale sharks, and the viewing time is limited to 30 minutes.
Best time to visit: While whale sharks can be seen from November to June, the peak season is from February to May.
No sighting policy: If whale sharks are not seen due to unpredictable factors, there will be no refund on transportation charges.
