Day 1: Journey to Phnom Aural & Jungle Camping
🕓 4:30 AM – Meet your guide and driver at the designated meeting point (follow the provided map link).
🚗 Embark on a scenic drive to a remote village at the base of Phnom Aural, Cambodia’s highest mountain.
🍽️ Stop for breakfast along the way before arriving at the village.
🏡 Upon arrival, meet a local family and pick fresh ingredients for lunch.
🚜 Rainy Season: Ride a local hand tractor to the trekking point.
🥾 Trekking Begins: Hike through lush forests, cross small streams, and reach hidden viewpoints for breathtaking scenery.
💦 Waterfall Lunch Break: Enjoy a meal at a secluded waterfall and cool off in its refreshing waters.
🌅 Evening at Camp: Set up camp in a peaceful location with stunning sunset views.
🔥 Campfire Stories & Games: Gather around the fire, listen to local stories, and learn about the unique ecology of the Cardamom Mountains.
🍲 Dinner & Local Drinks: Enjoy a traditional meal, play games, and sleep under the stars, away from modern distractions.
Day 2: Summit & Return
🌅 7:00 AM – Breakfast at the campsite before resuming the trek.
🏔️ Trek to Phnom Aural’s Summit – Reach the highest peak in Cambodia and explore a WWII-era airplane crash site.
📸 Enjoy 360-degree panoramic views of the Cardamom Mountains – a hidden gem that many tourists miss.
🕛 12:00 PM – If time allows, explore more hidden spots before descending.
🍽️ Lunch back at the campsite before preparing for the return journey.
🚗 Drive back to Phnom Penh, with an estimated arrival between 8:00 – 9:00 PM.
